From the drawing board to the computer, from the computer to the track: Italo is beginning to take shape

On 4 June the first car body of our first train was assembled at the Alstom plant in La Rochelle, situated on the French Atlantic coast. This marks a fundamental step in the NTV project, a milestone we want to share with our future passengers. 25 trains will soon be ready for service, and in 2011 the ITALO fleet will be speeding along at 300 kmh around Italy’s high-speed network.
