Strategic partnership between the Province of Rome and Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori.
The President of the province of Rome, Nicola Zingaretti, and CEO of NTV, Giuseppe Sciarrone, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation on vocational training.
Among the points of the agreement, signed last July 5th at Palazzo Valentini, the involvement of NTV in training courses and the inclusion of the Province of the School of Education NTV professional training system in the Province of Rome.
The meeting between Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori and the Province will create a model of governance Joint public-private training offer attractive to other companies in the province. The provincial commissioner of Labor, Maximilian Emery, stressed that the Protocol is signed with Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori "a breakthrough because for the first time in a joint public and private sectors work together to pursue a continuing education project. NTV intends to establish a partnership with institutes of advanced secondary-school instruction, universities and national and international masters and post-graduate programs, in order to promote working relationships and training projects regarding key activities in the company’s business.
The partnerships can take concrete form through the pairing of training courses with experience in the working world, or:

  • custom-designed training projects and university theses on topics of strategic interest to the company and the student;
  • company internship projects;
  • professional orientation days, with talks by experts in the railway sector at universities and institutes of advanced secondary education.
