Starting from 2011, NTV shall be operating 25 new Alstom AGV trains on the high-speed railway network, servicing Italy’s main cities: Bari, Bologna, Florence, Milan, Naples, Rome, Salerno, Turin and Venice.
Every day there will be more than 54 journeys, making for a total of 13.5 million km a year. Once full operating capacity is reached, NTV forecasts that it will obtain a market share consisting of roughly 10 million passengers yearly.
The main lines are:
- Turin-Milan-Bologna-Florence-Rome-Naples-Salerno
- Venice-Padova-Bologna-Florence-Rome
- Rome-Bari
