Recruitment steps for on board Hostess & Steward

Italo has regular recruitment campaigns to find resources to be trained to work in our crews

  • Screening of the applications: Italo works together with a work agency to analyse and assess all applications and verify their requirements;
  • Pre-selection: candidates with the requirements required will be invited to an English video interview or test to verify their language knowledge
  • Selection: all candidates that have passed the previous steps will be contacted and invited to an assessment day that foresees individual tests, group tests, English interview, psychometric interview and motivational interview with Italo.
  • All candidates compliant with the required profile will be contacted by the work agency and will start their Italo training programme depending on company needs.
  • Training course for Italo Hostesses and Stewards: the 3-week training course will be held mainly by Italo instructors and will be focused on giving all attendees the knowledge and skills required to carry out their task effectively.
  • Placement: all candidates that have passed the training course will be contacted by the work agency to start up their work contract, depending on company needs
